Web Developer Tallahassee, FL

Looking for hot developer ready to make our successful social marketing practice more powerful yet, serving as our in-house leader in interactive design either from our office in north Florida (Tallahassee, FL) or our office in the Washington, DC-area (Alexandria, VA).

This will be an important job. Our behavior-based methodology places developers within the research/creative teams that design our overall interventions or campaigns. Your role will not simply be to develop web sites, but to help frame entire campaigns and then express the overall strategy in web interfaces that transform what our clients can offer. Clients include non-profits such as Colorectal Cancer Coalition, federal agencies such as the EPA, and advocacy groups such as the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, as well as corporations committed to change.

We need a true web developer with a designer's eye for this position, someone skilled not just in HTML and CSS layout, but also in Flash, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and hopefully more. Ability to work in all parts of the CS3 suite obviously a must. We are very interested in what you can make web sites DO, either working closely with an art director or on your own. Our approach is all about making unexpected offers that are surprisingly fun and useful. Can you help us do that better on the web?

We also need someone comfortable working a fast-paced team environment who is eager not just to collect a paycheck but to make a difference. Appreciation of irony and sense of humor required. Interest in breaking new ground a plus.
